Taylor Swift majorly revamps Eras Tour for Tortured Poet’s Department set

As per usual, when it comes to Taylor Swift, the TikTok sleuths called it first.
The Eras Tour has had an overhaul to make way for Swift’s eleventh album, The Tortured Poet’s Department. And yes, that means there had to be some sacrifices along the way…
On May 9, she introduced Paris’ La Défense Arena to a brand-new set. The TTPD setlist cycled through six versions (some shortened) of her recently released tracks, The new section of the show unfolded before fans could even digest all the changes (and the tens of thousands tuning in on live streams across the web – myself included).
Complete with the vampy Vivienne Westwood-esque dress, a new moving (spinning/gliding/reeling) stage, ‘Fortnight’ bed frame, and even a silent movie skit, the newest instalment of the concert has cemented itself as an entirely new era.
And it’s completely different from all the ones that came before.
And no, TTPD isn’t the last set of the show. It’s sandwiched between 1989 and the acoustic set. Actually, all eras have been rejigged around with the 2020 sister albums now being just one section, Taylor tied this into a neat little bow by wearing a folklore dress in an evermore colour. Although brace yourselves – some of the cuts, well, they cut deep.

My hunch is, yes.
